The British Museum

As part of my master's degree in Museums & Galleries in Education, I worked with a group of students on a family activity for the Africa Gallery at the British Museum. We worked with the Samsung Digital Discover Centre on a tablet-based activity on the theme of African textiles. Families were invited to look at the display of kanga fabrics and to answer questions about what they saw. they were then given the opportunity to design their own kanga by using a template, and to add their own family motto.
